SCTG recently commissioned research into whether civil engineering and construction management graduates in Scotland have the skills they need and that their employers expect when they complete their degree programmes. This Report delivers the findings of this research and also asks what training and support is provided by employers when they employ graduates. We would encourage suggestions and recommendations on which of these findings should be our next priorities for further action. Constructive feedback will be appreciated – please email info@scottishcivilstraining.co.uk Report Link: https://scottishcivilstraining.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Employability-of-Graduates-in-the-Scottish-Construction-Industry-Report-June-2019.pdf

We now have availability for reassessment and testing for the streetworks cards. You will be able to renew the registration of any certificate which has been issued to you, either by reassessment of your competence in the subject (or by undertaking full assessment – which involves both practical and theoretical assessment of your skills) at any point during the period of time before the registration of the certificate expires. Training is not compulsory however assessment centres are able to provide it if required. Please email the group training officers for further information. info@scottishcivilstraining.co.uk
