Our SHEA Telecommunications scheme is designed for individuals who require access to operational sites within the telecommunications industry, both permanent and temporary, at all levels including operatives, supervisors and management. The SHEA Telecommunications scheme comprises of seven modules. About Excavation Rescue This safety course introduces the learner to the theoretical and practical side of rescue from open excavations. The course has been designed to cover current legislation and guidance including the HSE’s L101 and the use of davit arm systems along with stretchers and harnesses. Learners will become familiarised with the component parts, assembly and use of davit arm systems on trench boxes and sheet piles. The half day course can accommodate up to 8 delegates per day.
